Abstract

Two new complexes [Co3(Htrz)6(H2O)6](NO3)6·2H2O (1) and [Co3(Hdatrz)6(H2O)6](ClO4)6·4H2O (2) (Htrz = 1 H-1,2,4-triazole, Hdatrz = 3,5-diamino-1H-1,2,4-triazole) were synthesized at room temperature and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and TG-DTG and DSC. X-ray diffraction analyses. The two complexes consisted of similar linear trinuclear Co(II) units displaying 3D supramolecular architectures linked by a number of hydrogen bonding interactions. Thermal stability of the main frame of complex 2 is higher than 200 °C.
