Effect of Centrifugal Force on Poloidal Distribution of Impurities in the Edge of Small Size Divertor Tokamak

Abstract

Toroidal rotation of tokamak plasma causes an outward major radial displacement of impurities. Here the physics of this phenomenon is analysis and the distribution of impurities on a magnetic surface is determined for the cases of practical interest.
