A mathematical model of the process of vertical interference testing of the gas stratum penetrated by an imperfect well has been constructed. The influence of the parameters of the wellbore zone on pressure curves in the active and reactive intervals of the well has been investigated. From the results of vertical interference testing, we can determine the parameters governing the skin factor: the permeability of the stratum and the permeability and radius of the wellbore zone.
