Journal of Engineering Physics and Thermophysics Aims and scope

The authors have proposed controlled methods to suppress (diminish) pressure pulsations in pipelines with account taken of rheological properties and on the basis of swirling of the flow of piped multiphase systems. It has been shown that by selecting the parameters of flows, one can decrease both the level of harmful pulsations in multiphase pipelines and the amplitudes of suppressing action through the creation of relevant rheophysical characteristics. Also, it has been shown that flow swirling may become an efficient method to suppress pressure pulsations in multiphase pipelines.
