Abstract

Six new complexes, [Co(pzpa-CH3)4Cl2] (1), [M(pzpa-CH2CH3)2Cl2] [M = Mn(2), Ni(3)], [M(cpzpa)Cl]2[M(H2O)6]·nH2O [M = Co(4) n = 2, Zn(5) n = 4] and [Zn(cpzpa)Cl]·H2Cl (6) have been synthesized by hydrothermal reactions of MCl2·4H2O (M = Co, Mn, Ni, Zn) with 2-(1H-pyrazol-3-yl)-phenoxy acetic acid (Hpzpa) and [2-(1-Carboxymethyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)phenoxyl acetic acid (H2cpzpa). Single-crystal X-ray analyses demonstrate that they are all mononuclear structures. These compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and luminescence.

Graphical Abstract

Six new M(II)/pzpa, cpzpa complexes (M = Co, Mn, Ni, Zn) have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The complexes 16 feature mononuclear structures.
