The cubic space group of tungstogallate acid, H₅GaW₁₂O₄₀

Abstract

The space group of tungstogallate acid, H₅GaW₁₂O₄₀, reported by Niu et al. (J. Chem. Crystallogr. 2003, 33, 799) should be I−43m instead of Cm; the monoclinic C-centered cell is transformed to the I-centered cubic cell by (1 0 0; $\frac{1}{2}$,−$\frac{1}{2}$, 1; −$\frac{1}{2}$, −$\frac{1}{2}$, −1).
