Argentina is classified at number 38 in the world (HDi 0.869, EI 0.947, BPi 0.828), Chile at level 40 (HDi 0.867, Ei 0.914, BPi 0.799.), Cuba at 51 (HDi 0.838, Ei 0.952, BPi 0.683) México at 52 (HDi 0.829, Ei 0.863, BPi 0.871) and Brazil at 70 (HDi 0.800, Ei 0.883, BPi 0.740), while the rest of the Latin American countries are considered with a middle human development level (Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo 2007).
