Method for Optimizing a Raman Laser that Generates Several Stokes Components

  • Published:
Journal of Applied Spectroscopy Aims and scope

A system of equations is constructed for the power of the Stokes components generated individually or simultaneously by a steady-state Raman laser. Examples of lasing in one, two, or three components are used to show that these equations can be used in a simple way to optimize the operation of this type of laser system.
