Reducing the proportion of impurity emission in spectra of x-ray sources

  • Published:
Journal of Applied Spectroscopy Aims and scope

We have studied the emission spectrum of an RT1-50 x-ray tube. Scanning the x-ray beam along the output window of the x-ray tube allowed us to establish the sources generating the impurity spectrum. We propose methods for suppressing the impurity emission.
