A report on important moments of 100-years scientific activity (1918 – 2018) of the S. P. Timoshenko Institute of Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU) is presented. This report was read on December 21, 2018 at the General Meetings of the Mechanics Division of the NASU devoted to the centenary of the institute.
