Impact of thermal and ionizing radiation on a circular sandwich plate on an elastic foundation

The symmetric transverse vibrations of an elastic circular sandwich plate exposed to thermal and ionizing radiation are studied. The plate is on an inertialess Winkler foundation. The face layers are describe with the Kirchhoff hypotheses, while the light core with the hypothesis of broken normal. Analytical solutions are obtained. The numerical results are analyzed
