Quantum Entanglement of the Coupled Exciton-Photon System in the Semiconductor Microcavities

Abstract

We consider how to generate entangled state of the coupled exciton-photon system in the semiconductor microcavities. Using short-time approximation, we calculate two different entanglement parameters. we show that entangled state can be generated in the dynamical processing. It shows that quantum entanglement decreases monotonically with the evolution and the stronger coupling constant of exciton-photon interaction induces better entanglement.
