On the Interaction Between a Time-Dependent Field and a Two-Level Atom: Path Integral Treatment

Abstract

We use the coherent state path integral and a Schwinger model for the spin to solve the generalized Jaynes-Cummings model with a time-dependent coupling parameter of the photons-field. The propagators are given explicitly as perturbation series. These are summed up exactly. The wave functions are deduced.
