Abstract
We present a scheme for the preparation of arbitrary non-maximally entangled states of two two-level atoms. The distinct feature of the effective Hamiltonian is that it is independent of the photon-number of the cavity field. Thus the scheme is insensitive to the cavity decay and the atom radiation.
