Simple Scheme for Dynamical Preparation of Spin Squeezed State of Trapped Ions

Abstract

A scheme is proposed to dynamically prepare spin squeezed state of trapped ions, which are simultaneously excited by a laser beam. Simple analytical formula for the spin squeezing parameter has been derived. Its shown that the spin squeezed state can be dynamically generated by adjusting the detunning, the Lamb-Dicke parameter and the Rabi frequency.
