Abstract
The dissipative quantum dynamics of a harmonic oscillator in the presence of a deformed bath is investigated. The deformed bath is modelled by a collection of deformed quantum harmonic oscillators as a generalization of Hopfield model. The transition probabilities between energy levels of the oscillator are obtained perturbatively and discussed.
