A Repulsive Force from a Modification of General Relativity

Abstract

Assuming a modification of general relativity which implies a direct coupling between the Ricci curvature scalar and the matter Lagrangian, a non-geodesic motion of test particles is obtained, which, performing a repulsive force, could, in principle, be connected with Dark Matter and Pioneer anomaly problems.
