In the original publication the following were found incorrect:
In the sentence beginning, ‘Arendt’s revelations can be found in…’, the source citation should have read ‘(cited in Arendt, 1968, p. 257)’.
In the sentence beginning, ‘It is still unclear whether there is…’, the word ‘HORISONTALISATION’ was displayed incorrectly in all capital when it should been only ‘horizontalisation’.
The Funding information was missing and should have read, ‘We wish to acknowledge the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) for funding the Turkish research outlined in this paper (ESRC number ES/T015519/1).’
