Abstract

Water triple-point cells were manufactured with the ad hoc addition of known amounts ((1 to 10) μmol · mol−1) of Si and Na impurities to cell high-purity water. The depressions of the triple-point temperatures realized by the doped cells with respect to 273.16 K were measured and found substantially different from what is expected by Raoult’s law for ideal diluted solutions.
