Looking over the Archaeologists’ Shoulders: Web-based Public Outreach in the Deep Wrecks Project

Abstract

This article presents a case study of how the PAST Foundation partnered with other agencies and organizations to develop a successful public outreach website focusing on the Gulf of Mexico “Deep Wrecks” project in the late summer of 2004.
