Retraction Note: Characterization of nanosized metallic interfaces

The Editor in Chief has retracted this article because the authors did not have the ownership of the data reported. Japan Synchrotron Radiation Research Institute confirmed that the authors of this article were not on the team that collected the data on Spring8 equipment. M. Ghafari does not agree to this retraction. H. Gleiter and H. Hahn did not respond to any correspondence from the editor about this retraction.
