Abstract

Precision spectroscopy of hadronic atoms is a powerful tool to study the particle properties (mass and magnetic moment) as well as the hadron-nucleon (nucleus) strong-interaction parameters. Recent developments in hadronic-atom studies, pionic-atom and kaonic-atom spectroscopy in particular, are discussed.
