Aspects of neutral atom traps for antihydrogen spectroscopy

Abstract

We discuss the need for neutral atom traps instead of atomic beams for the high-precision spectroscopic comparison of anithydrogen and hydrogen. We also describe recent proposals and advances towards a new trap for hydrogen and briefly discuss traps for antihydrogen.
