Calculations of the Hyperfine Anomaly in the Lanthanides

Abstract

Calculations of the Bohr–Weisskopf effect and hence the hyperfine anomaly has been performed in Eu using the particle-rotor formalism. Comparisons with experimental data and a discussion on the semi-empirical Moskowitz–Lombardi formula is performed.
