Damage of a Fine-Grained Chromium-Nickel Steel Boiler Steam Heater Coil

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

Measurement monitoring and metallographic analysis are performed for damaged and undamaged coils. Ultimate strength is studied for metal with a fine-grained structure. It is shown that grain size has a decisive effect on steam heater life characteristics.
