Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

This article discusses the issues of the optimization of digital exchange and the structure of a local computer network during the implementation of the telemechanics subsystem of a 110/10 kV substation using the equipment of the company DEP. Additionally, the automation system is implemented using digital substation technologies. As the main part of the bay is connected to a 10 kV integrated switchgear containing 42 cells, herein, the emphasis is given to the implementation of the connection controller and distributed signal input/output modules of this switchgear.
