Effect of Waves in a Model of Offshore Oil Platforms of the Pendulum Type

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

Offshore platforms on pendulum supports are promising structures for the development of deep-water areas of continental shelves. The results of experimental studies into the impact of waves in a model of pendulum platforms are presented. The results obtained are relevant for identifying areas of rational application of pendulum supports and justifying engineering solutions.
