Assessment of the Hydraulic Regime of the City Pool of the Moscow River during the High-Runoff Period during the Temporary Shutdown of the Vodootvodny Channel

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

This article presents the results of the numerical modeling of the passage of a spring flood through the central section of the city pool of the Moscow River with temporary blocking of the Vodootvodny channel. A mathematical model of the watercourse was developed, and the results of the real conditions for the passage of high waters, including the hydraulic flushing of the Moscow riverbed, were analyzed.
