Numerical Simulation of a Dam-Break Wave from Hydraulic Project No. 10 on the White Sea-Baltic Canal

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

As part of the scientific substantiation of the retrofitting project for the Shavan Dam on the White Sea-Baltic Canal, the wave resulting from break of the upstream face of hydraulic project No. 10 was calculated using methods of numerical hydrodynamic simulation and STREAM 2D CUDA software developed by the Akvarius Analitik company (Russia).
