Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

This article presents a method for determining the resource characteristics of long-term evaporative heating surfaces made of carbon steel grade 20. The method is based on data obtained from measuring the strength, corrosion resistance of the cutout metal, and the operating temperature using inserts. In addition, the results of the calculation of the minimum allowable wall thickness and the residual life of the evaporative pipes of the TPE-208 boiler type are presented.
