Aplication of the Method of Characteristics for Studying the Processes of Transformation of Flow Rates and Water Depths in the Derivation Channel of an HPP Under Discharge Regulation

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

An algorithm for numerical solution of the problem based on the method of characteristics was created. The hydraulic calculation of the change of flow rates and water depths depending on the length of the derivation channel for unsteady flow was completed.
