Design Levels of Flooding of the Lake Baikal Shore and Territories Under Different Runoff Regulations

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

This article discusses the main methodological problems in determining water levels during the implementation of current standard regulations that define the flood zones in offshore territories of rivers and water reservoirs. A new approach is proposed to determine the maximum water levels on the Baikal coast and in the downstream of the Irkutsk Hydropower Plant.
