The reliability of diagnostic procedures used to determine forecasting recommendations is discussed. In order to obtain a summary estimate of the operational quality of the slip ring current collector (SRCC) of a turbine generator (TG), as well as to develop a diagnostic and forecasting system for estimating the technical condition of the TG SRCC, a multifactorial regression model is presented.
