The scope, methods, and results of engineering and geophysical work performed by the VNIIG im. B. E. Vedeneeva over the period from 2010 to 2020 are described, including integrated geophysical surveys and studies of the foundations of the designed and retrofitted hydraulic structures, geo-seepage surveys, surveys in the cryolithic zone, seismic microzoning, assessment of the condition of concrete structures, ultrasonic testing of rock samples and materials, assessment of the physical and mechanical properties of rocks and beds, and electrotomographic examination of earth-fill dam-base models.
