Features of welding heat-resistant steels when repairing cased power-generating equipment without heat treatment are outlined. It is shown that, by adjusting the parameters of the welding thermal cycle and using welding electrodes with high ductility, it is possible to restore thick-walled cased parts without postwelding heat treatment. Examples of successful repair of various elements of power-generating equipment without heat treatment are given.
