Application of Non-Contact Methods for Improved Visual Inspection of the Technical Condition of Hydraulic Structures

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

Aset of methods for the visual inspection of concrete and reinforced concrete hydraulic structures (HS) using auxiliary technical means is considered. This set takes into account most of the features of surveys carried out during the operation of hydro power plants (HPPs) to permit the assessment of HS under any given conditions. The complementary approach taken by the presented methods expands the scope of the standard visual inspection concept to increase survey quality.
