This paper discusses the conditions of sediment accumulation in the access channel and deep-water area around the “Utrennii” terminal. The main factor of the sediment accumulation in the access channel is the movement of silt sediments by the tidal currents and extreme storm waves. The sediment accumulation in the deep-water area around the terminal is determined by the inflow of both sandy sediments and silty deposits transported by the wave currents.
