Study Into Spectral Analysis of Transformer Oil Composition

The results of a study into the optical spectra of the transmitted and scattered radiation of a series of transformer oils are presented. For the first time, an accurate description of the reasons for the change in the color of transformer oil as a result of its degradation is provided.
