The radial displacement of the 33rd section of the Sayano-Shushenskaya Dam was simulated numerically to account for the temperature-depended maximum water levels in the reservoir during the development of reservoir operating rules. The accuracy of the model and the procedure of using it in drawing dispatch schedules for the Sayano-Shushenskii Hydraulic Project on the Yenisey River are discussed.
