Evaluation of the Effect of the Duration of the Repair Status of the Electrical Network on an Increase in Electric Power Losses1

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

The effect of the duration of the repair status of networks, their load, composition, and configuration of schemes on an increase of electric power losses in 6 – 35 kV distribution networks is examined. For the report interval (a month), as a result of deterministic modeling of multiple regimes, the character was determined and the graphic and analytical dependences of the increase in the relative value of electric power losses on the duration of the repair status of the network and its load were obtained. The statistical test method is the basis of the investigations.

Editor’s Note

Publishing the article by A. A. Gerasimenko and E. V. Puzyrev, the journal’s editorial staff calls the reader’s attention to the great practical significance of a quantitative evaluation of the effect of repair regimes on technical electric power losses in distribution networks. At the same time, understanding that methodological approaches to such an evaluation and calculations based on them can be different, the editorial staff expresses hope that journal readers will considerate it appropriate to express their opinion on the journal pages concerning the theme of the article, proposed methods, and calculation results obtained.
