Features of Vibration Adjustment of T-185/210-16.2 Turbogenerator

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

Some features of the vibratory condition of the prototype T-185/210-16.2 + TZFP-220-2UZ turbogenerator during the first years of operation that required thorough vibration survey and analysis to identify the main causes of the increased vibration of the bearings and shafting. The main causes of the increased vibration of the turbogenerator include a slight residual unbalance of the rotor, design features, and operating conditions. A package of measures was taken to reduce the vibration of the bearings and rotor journals in all operating conditions to a level meeting international requirements.
