Acoustical Monitoring of the Stress-Strain State of Welded Connections of a Rotor Frame During Upgrade of the Hydroelectric Unit of the Nizhnekamsk Hydroelectric Power Station

Results are presented for research by an acoustic method, of residual stresses and the plastic strains that occurred in a spoke of a rotor frame of the main generator after welding reinforcing plates (additional ribs for rigidity) during upgrade work on the hydroelectric unit of the Nizhnekamsk hydroelectric power station.
