Based on many years of successful experience in developing and operating supercritical steam turbines with powers of 300 – 1200 MWand an analysis of advances in competing ultrasupercritical turbines, the firm JSC “Power Machines” has developed a 660 MWultrasupercritical steam turbine. The basic engineering solutions applied to the model K-660-26,5 turbine will be used to build a series of 500 – 1200 MW turbines with ultrasupercritical steam parameters.
