Use of Steel Linings as Effective Reinforcement in Reinforced-Concrete Strucutres of HPP and NPP

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

It is demonstrated that the stresses in a smooth lining and deformed rebar when functioning in unison depend on their different engagement with the concrete. Aprocedure is given for analysis of the stress state of the lining and rod reinforcement, and also a procedure for analysis of anchors ensuring combined functioning with the concrete. In-service characteristics are presented for a steel-reinforced-concrete structure subject to temperature effects.
