Properties of 100 MW turbine HPC housing undergoing restorative heat treatment after exhausting safe life

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

Metal properties are evaluated for the HPC housing of a T-100/120-130 turbine undergoing restorative heat treatment after operating for 254,000 h. Mechanical properties at room and operating temperature, critical brittleness temperature, structural features, and metal stress-rupture strength and ductility are determined.
