Comprehensive tests of a KGM-125-10-540 main boiler with combustion of natural, blast-furnace, and coke gases

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

Thermal tests have been conducted on a KGM-125-10-540 boiler burning natural gas and mixtures of natural, blast-furnace, and coke gases. The major technical and economic performance indicators are determined within its working load range. Recommendations are made for increasing the steam capacity of the boiler system and improving the acoustic characteristics of the air heater.
