Production of Rock-Based Foam-Glass Materials (Review)

The results of investigations of the production of granulated and foam-glass block materials based on abundant high-silica rocks and industrial wastes are reported. Attention is focused primarily on the optimization of compositions and methods for obtaining materials that can be used as structural and heat-insulating high-porosity aggregates.
