New Pendulum Conveyor Design for Forming Mineral-Wool Articles

  • Published:
Glass and Ceramics Aims and scope Submit manuscript

It is shown that a new pendulum conveyor design is needed in order to form mineral-wool products. One possible variant of a pendulum conveyor with a mechanical drive has been developed; its structure and operating principle are described. Analytical relations for calculating the design parameters of the pendulum conveyor, which makes it possible to determine their optimal values, are given. As an example, the parameters of the kinematic scheme of a pendulum conveyor for industrial applications are calculated.
