Astudy of the possibility of obtaining artificial porous aggregates for lightweight concrete based on everyday cullet and different types of ash-slag wastes from thermal power plants—fly-ash, slag, and ash-slag mixture from ash dumps — is presented. The effect of the type and amount of ash-slag waste in the makeup of the batch as well as the temperature and firing time on the material properties was investigated. The properties of the artificial porous aggregates are determined and photographs of the obtained experimental samples are presented.
