One-Time Firing Ceramic Pastes Based on Gabbro-Dolerite and Moderately Red-Burning Clay

  • Published:
Glass and Ceramics Aims and scope Submit manuscript

New compositions of a ceramic body using gabbro-dolerite and moderately red-burning clay are presented. Mathematical modeling is performed in order to determine the optimal raw composition. The optimal temperature of one-time firing of ceramic tile with the new composition is determined. The flow characteristics of the processes occurring during firing are investigated by means of a complex of physical-chemical studies.
